From our Bed and Breakfast Guest House Stratford-on-Avon Town Centre is less than 5/7 minutes walk away with Bridge Street and High Street for Shopping, Sheep Street for Restaurants (and Falstaff experience), Bancroft Gardens for Promenade along the river Avon, and the Royal Shakespeare Company ("The RSC") on Waterside with the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Swan Theatre and Courtyard Theatre plus Shakesperiance all within an easy stroll.

You may also wish to view the Civic Hall and its shows in Rother Street and of course Henley street with Shakespeare's Birthplace and the Shakespeare Institute and Stratford Public Library whilst also in the High street you will see Harvard House, in Chapel Street Nash House and New Place (Shakespeare's last Home) and in chapel Street you will find King Edward VI school (where Shakespeare learnt to read and write) further on Hall's Croft in Old Town and nearby on the riverside Holy Trinity Church (Shakespeare resting place). Not far up a foot path you will see Anne Hathaways cottage and its gardens. You may also walk up the Avon Canal to Bridge No 59 to see Mary Arden's Farm (Shakespeare's Mother).

You may wish to Bus /Train or drive to Warwick Castle 11 miles away and Tour the Costwolds by car or Bus with Chipping Campden , Broadway, Moreton in the Marsh, Stow-on-the Wold, The Slaughters and Bourton on the Water close by.
